I am new to have databases and am trying to teach myself i have read the user guide and still cannot get SQL assistant to connect to MS Access I have a Access database called CPMG Clarity Database Ver 3.mdb and just want to connect to it and create some SQL quires Any help will be much appreciated Regards Desmond Fri Apr 24, 2015 6:53 am SysOp Site Admin Joined: 26 Nov 2006 Posts: 7948 Please right-click SQL Assistant's icon in the system tray, and in the menu select SQL Editor. When SQL Editor opens up you will be presented with a Connect dialog. Choose MS Access from the Database Type drop-down. The dialog will change. Usee the [...] to select your CPMG Clarity Database Ver 3.mdb file. click Connect. That should be it. If you get any errors, please provide the complete error text.
