[SA 7.1.228 Pro] - Bug: not executing versioned MySQL statem |
|
SQL Editor has a critical issue. When the editor connected to a MySQL Server contains version constrained statements (ones that contain comments styled /*![version number] statement */) they are not passed to the server. I'm not sure if it's SQL Editor swallowing these comments or the connection type that lacks this feature but I've tried it with both ODBC and ADO and neither of them made it appear in mysql-proxy.

I believe for DB2 and MySQL all comments get removed from regular non procedural statements. If not removed the database server complains about syntax errors. We will look into the special /*! ... */ case. Thank you for reporting that.
