Anyone integrated SQL Assistant with Excel 2007 VBA editor? |
|
Hi!
I am doing alot of work integrating Exel 2007 VBA with Oracle databases. Has anyone integrated SQL Assistant with Excel VBA editor? Should be similar to the integration with Access editor except pointed at Oracle. Any hints, help, tricks or tips for doing this are greatfully appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Dave Venus

What do you get when you press Ctrl+Shift+F5 in the editor?

Excel 2007 |
|
Hi!
When I press CTL+SHIFT+F5 a window pops up that says "Unsupported window class (VbaWindow)". So does this mean it will not work with Excel?
Thanks,
Dave

I'm afraid it won't. You would need to use an external editor to develop SQL queries. For example you can use the editor bundled with SQL Assistant. Look for sqleditor.exe in the Data sub folder.
