Post SQL Assistant not available in SSMS2012 Reply with quote
I have installed SQL assistant 6.4.230. (Full version) But i don't see an add-on in SSMS 2012.

I tried different options turning on and off register in (Advanced tab)options. Restarting everthing as administrator and nothing works.

Can you please help me with this ?

Let's figure out if the issue is isolated to your version of SSMS 2012 or global.

Can you please check if it works with other editors, for example, with Notepad++ or Toad?

By the way, how do you check SQL Assistant's add-on in SSMS 2012?

I don't see it in Notepad++ as well. I installed a trail version of SQL assistant before, i used to see an additional menu item at the top. And also when i write click on a table to create a query - I used to see additional items (in addition to SQL server default options).

I had uninstalled SQL assistant trail version after it expired as it kept on popping up the expiry message. I reinstalled it after i bought the license and got FULL version which does not work.

Please help!

Please check the About tab in the Options dialog. Do you see your license key there?

Just to be clear, you got v6.4 installed and the license key is also for version 6, right? Can you please double-check that?
