For some odd reason, all buttons are enabled for me except for the New button. I've assigned myself the administrator role so I assume I should be able to add new jobs or folders? Thanks.

Please let us know your scheduler version and your web console version

Scheduler is 5.1.402 and web console is 5.1.395. Just noticed now that the web console is an earlier version even though it was installed as part of the 5.1.402 scheduler installation.

The version difference is ok, each component has its own version number.

It sounds like the scheduler doesn't recognize you as an administrator.
Can you please double check your scheduler settings?

It's now even worse. I can't log in to the web console anymore. Here's the last few lines from the debug.log file:

I've verified that the users file in the 24x7 folder has a line for my username and the role administrator assigned to it. Also, distributed server mode is enabled with port 1096 and remote control is enabled with port 1098. Anything else I need to look at? Thanks.

The port number should be 1097, not 1098. This is why you cannot connect.

I couldn't set it to 1097 previously because it was in use so I set it to 1098. I was able to log in then but all of a sudden it no longer works. I just tried setting the port back to 1097 and it's now available. That seems to have solved all the problems. Thanks.
