[SA 6.4.199 preview] History anomaly

There's something fishy with history. I've had it disabled since the start of v 6 but I decided to check it now. With the settings of 32kb for History Cache Size, 2 Items Shown in List, Docked at the Bottom and MRU for Cache Lookup Method it shows some weird behavior that make me think there's either a bug or I completely misunderstood these settings.

I thought History Items Shown in Lists would add history items to the popup but that's not what happened. I have Suggest Keywords After set to 2 and after the second character the popup appears as expected, with keywords and snippet candidates for the characters typed so far. I also have several snippets starting with 'sele' which appeared as well when typing 'se' but after typing 'sel' the contents of the popup are completely replaced by history items (no keywords and no snippets, nothing but history, though the snippets are triggered when their last character is typed) and not just by two items (probably all of them?).

Is this on purpose?

Yes, that behavior is by design. The Keywords popup is very different from everything else and cannot mix its content with other item types. That's why it gets alternated with other popups.
