Post Multiple Job Triggers Reply with quote
Hi,

Is it possible to set up a job with both time and dependency triggers? Ie. job w to start not before 6:00, but also not before jobs x and y have completed?

I guess a workaround would be to set up an additional trigger job z to run at 6:00 and set that as an additional dependency for w, but that seems inefficient...

Thanks,
Richard

Sure. What you have described is one of the most common solutions because it allows managing dependencies graphically without coding. The little trick is to give job z a self describing name, something like "6 o'clock event"
