Import Job Database

Hi,

there is a menue point: Tools/Export Job Database
I did it and can now see the filled table in the oracle db i've selected.

I've installed a newest Version of the scheduler (folders and jobs are initial empty).
But now i miss a import job database menue point.
What did i wrong?

Hi,

This function is not designed for Export/Import, it is more for documentation and for reporting purposes so that you can use external reporting tools to report on jobs and job activity.

To bring your existing jobs to the new version (assuming you are going from 4.x or 5.x to the latest 5.1), all you need to do is to copy over your existing job database file, by default DefaultJobDB.dat. That's it.
