Return Codes

Hi There,

I am executing shell scripts on a remote box.
Sometimes in the log I see the following...

23-Feb-2012 02:53:31 PM 3 7xScmRht5hhVbDPyGb3xspoWOaY= 2350 010_check_fidmon84 Remote job failed. Exit code: -1;

Now this script does not return a -1, it only returns a 0 or 1.
Is this some type of internal failure in the scheduler?

Hi,

Exit code -1 is returned by the process running that remote job, the -1 value from that process tells the scheduler that remote job failed. A zero value means success. Please check scheduler.log file on the agent system to find more details on the failed jobs.

Hi there, I did check the agent and found the following:

28-Feb-2012 04:19:52 PM 2 null 916 050_run_csi_datasec_load Remote job started.
28-Feb-2012 04:19:52 PM 2 null 916 050_run_csi_datasec_load Job started.
28-Feb-2012 04:20:22 PM 2 null 916 050_run_csi_datasec_load Job finished.

So, the job did complete, but it returned a -1.
