Web Interface

Any suggestions?

I am installing the web interface and 24x7 MP on a new server and seem to be unable to get the web interface to connect to the 24x7 MP service.

I have installed TomCat.

I have installed Scheduler.war.

I can access the web interface successfully but get a connection refused.

I have remote control enabled.

24x7 Scheduler MP is running as a service.

I have no users enabled right now although I have tried enabling a user as an administrator. Currently all users are cleared out.

I am using a valid user name and password and it is in the proper domain\user format.

The correct version of the scheduler is selected in the dropdown.

There is no firewall issue since the web server and scheduler software are on the same server.

I have tomcat installed on another server and it can successfully connect to a windows 24x7 instance remotely as well as a 24x7 MP instance locally. However it also cannot connect to the 24x7 MP instance on the above-described server.

Please check schedule.log and debug.log files for any entries indicating denied connections.
Does it work if you specify "localhost" as the machine name to connect to?
