Where on the Main Menu will SQL Assistant start up? |
|
After testing the trial version on another PC, I installed SQL Assistant on the official laptop.
In Options/Advanced/Environment Integration, one of the options is Main Menu.
Where on the Main Menu, should Sql Assistant be showing up?
Note: As with the trial version on the other laptop, Sql Assistant isn't showing up in UltraEdit yet, although it's showing up in NotePad. I assume it will just magically appear, after a couple more reboots.

Never mind. I changed the Executable in Advanced, to UEStudio.exe, and it works fine.

Out of curiosity., what's UEStudio.exe? Is that's the main executable name in the latest UltraEdit version or something else? Should we add it to the default SQL Assistant setup?

It's sort of a Project Manager/IDE version of UltraEdit.
I don't think it needs to be included as a separate entry in your list of Targets, but should be mentioned in the doc. I.e., alongside the instructions for configuring Sql Assistant with Ultra Edit, you would want to say something like, "For users of UeStudio, replace the UltraEdit executable name, with UEStudio.exe". Something like that.
