Post [SQLAssistant 6 BETA] MS SQL Multiple SMS opened bug? Reply with quote
Hello,

testing v6 beta, came around what I think is bug.

config:

OS: Win7 x64 Enterprise CZ
SQL Assistant: v6 BETA
software: MS SQL 2008r2 Management Studio.

Situation:
I open first Management studio, connect to SQLServer1, open new query. So far so good :)

Then - Open second Management studio (whole new studio), connect to SQLServer2, click "New query".

Result: SQL Assistant Warning: Application c:\Program ... whole too long path here ...\Ssms.exe failed to load SqlAssist.Sms.dll.

Then new query windows opens, and assistant helper working. When I open another queries in the same window, no other warnings are produced.

If it is not bug then please tell me what I am doing wrong ...

Hi,

Did you install SQL Server Studio add-on? Check your SQL Assistant settings as described here http://www.softtreetech.com/support/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=22943
Please confirm the add-on is installed and correctly registered

Installed, and in my settings is "Register SQL Assistant Add-on" set to "Yes".

SQL Assistant is working (at least those functions I use :) ) in both running Management studios, just that Warning when opening first query in second studio.

Can you please attach screenshot of the warning?
Is that a standard message box or a balloon appearing above the system tray?

Screenshot attached. Feel free to ask for any other information, which might be usefull.
Again - except for this dialog I found all other functions of SQL Assistant from those I am using working correctly.
