This causes the active window to have the contents of a different window underneath until the screen is refreshed. Diagram from window bottom to top: Desktop SQL window maximized but on the bottom Some other window, like word or Excel Active window The SQL window flashes, which causes the "Some other Window" to paste its display over the Active window. Figured I would pass this along in case someone else experiences it. Using 5.2.29 on XP, SQL Management 2008. Desktop Earth is refreshing by Desktop background. Installed the latest NVidia drivers to try to correct, but no success.
