Upgrade 4.4.319 released for 24x7 Scheduler Multi-platform |
|
Ladies and Gentlemen,
24x7 Scheduler Multi-platform Edition v4.4.314 has been released. Here are the main changes
1. Critical fixes in the job engine for supporting fast multi-processor Unix based systems (4 + CPUs); fixed thread synchronization issues causing job stagnation and out of order job execution.
2. Added advanced logging options for logging job events to databases, external files, local and remote syslog servers, local and remote Windows event logs.
3. Added built-in support for all types of FTP operations including Secure FTP (SFTP) and FTP over SSL (FTPS)
4. Job Dependencies Editor now supports partial views of job dependencies by job folder.
5. Added new utilities for easy importing of Windows Task Scheduler tasks and AT command jobs into 24x7
6. Added new methods for exporting jobs and their properties to external databases. You can now easily generate on-demand and scheduled user-defined reports.
7. Implemented an array of new JavaScript methods for high level directory (folder) operations, directory synchronization, file compression, CRC checks,
job management, reading and writing Excel and Access files using SQL queries.
The following builds 4.4.315 to 4.4.319 contain several minor bug fixes.

Hi There can you tell me the bug and the fix implemented for the Job Queue issue I was having?
And thanks for getting this fixed, it's been a pain dealing with this.

Can you remind the issue tracking number? I can use that number to check the issue status for you?
If you don't have that number, please let me know how to reproduce the issue so that I can retest it using the new version

Hi,
As far as I know the issue with IBM's AIX Java is that it requires a different type of code compilation. The scheduler code is the same but needs to be compiled with a different set of compilation options. Please don't download the generic version package. Send an email to supportATsofttreetech.com and request a version compatible with AIX.
Regards
