Run as Current User Failing |
|
On 24x7 Scheduler version 3.6.4, we have a batch job running under "Run Program or document file" with screen 2 of the Script Properties set to run as "current user".
If you update this on the 24x7 server, all is well.
If you update this batch job through the Web Interface (version 4.3 build 282), it updates the "Run as another user" with partial user data (Domain and User ID. No passwords) and the job fails.
Do you have any suggestions to work around this issue?
Do you have any corrections in future releases?

This sounds familiar. I've seen this issue before, something related to encoding.
Does the password include any special characters?

The password is not filled in at all. The Domain and User id are filled in automatically. With the blank password, the access fails.

Thanks. We are looking into this issue and trying to reproduce it.

Hi,
It seems like this issue was fixed in build 283. You would need to update the Web Interface to version 4.3 build 283 or later. The last stable build is 284. You can download it from the same place where you downloaded the current build. If you don't have that link, please email to support.
Regards
