It would be good if the next patch for 24x7 windows version removed some of the character restrictions on security account names; particularly the underscore. Any character that an AD account can use in it's name should really be admissable especially considering that the remote control console will only function correctly using an account which matches the name of your windows/AD account (even if the password is not synched between AD and 24x7)

Thanks for the clue. This is the first time ever I hear about such restrictions. I am going to setup a test, and if I can reproduce it, I will submit a bug report and request a fix.

User name matching is required, that's correct. We also recommend that also use same password. As it was explicitly stated in past release notes, future 24x7 versions will fully rely on integrated OS security
