The Alert Audit Center does not start. Not via the Start menu and not via master.bat.

The only thing that i see is :
C:\Program Files\DB Audit Alert Center>master.bat
Starting DB Audit Alert Center scheduler.
C:\Program Files\DB Audit Alert Center>

The required JRE is not installed with the Alert Center (included with the full trial version ).
And the manual i use is te one which is installed with the DB Audit Management Console.

The trial period is expired now. Overall it took me 3 days to get it working and i did not succeed.
Is there a posibility to extend the trial period? I can not give an advise before i see the tool working properly.

Don't you have the JRE sub-folder? Where did you get this install?

Please email to support and request the trial period extension.

There is no JRE sub-folder.
I downloaded the software from http://www.softtreetech.com/index.htm , Try it free (enterprise edition - 36.2 MB).

I don't know why JRE is missing on your end, but the current distribution package definitely has it and the size you mentioned seems to be correct. I think you are running it on a Windows system. You can get the required compatible JRE here http://www.softtreetech.com/dbaudit/builds/jre1.4/jre_for_ac_win.zip. Please create JRE subfolder in the folder where you installed the Alert Center. Unzip that file into JRE subfolder. Verify that master.bat contains the following text fragment. If it doesn't, you have gotten some very old version, and it makes sense to red-download the entire thing.

if exist "%CD%\jre\bin\java.exe" (
SET JAVA_HOME=%CD%\jre
) else (
if not exist "%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java.exe" goto no_javahome
)
