Show Keys and Indexed Columns disabled |
|
I'm using SQL Assist 4.8.29 with SQL Server 2005. Whenever I change the "Show Keys and Indexed Columns" from No to Yes, the system automatically changes it back to No. Why? How is it changed to Yes?

You are likely having difficulties updating the configuration file. I guess you are running Vista or Windows 7 workstation and not starting SQL Assistant software in "admin" mode. As a result Vista/7 virtualizes your settings and after each change reverts them back automatically without any errors. The solution is to restart SQL Assistant using Run As Administrator mode (a.k.a "admin" mode).
