"Never" value for Always add delimeter |
|
Hello
SQL Assistant 4.7.11
Options - DB Options - Auto Complete - Always Add Delimeters has four values:
Only if name = keyword
Always add brackets [ ]
Always add double-quotes " "
Always add apostrophes ' '
How about value "Never"?
This can be achieved if the delete list of Keywords :)

Sorry, I don't understand what's wrong with the default "Only if name = keyword" option.
Last 3 options are really optional, but this one is not. If you use columns or table names, which are the same as keyword names, in most cases you must enclose them in delimiters. There are only few exceptions for backward compatibility for generic names like NAME, DESCRIPTION, etc.. If you want, you can delete only these keywords from the keyword list. There is no need to delete them all, otherwise you will loose automatic keyword uppercasing as you type them and other standard code formatting features.
