I dont want to get the whole page just the header so that I can monitor multiple sites to ensure they are up and running. You can use it with port 80 for testing HTTP server response. By the way, the 24x7 Event Server provides robust tools for monitoring various web resources, it can check for network response, for page load, for response time, etc....
