SQL Assistant build 4.6.10 is now available for download
New features and enhancements
1. New Visual Bookmarks feature revolutionizes usage of code bookmarks, transforming this obscure and rarely used function available in many code editors into one that you will love and use often.
2. Code Structure View and Code Bird's View are now sticky and can be set to open automatically in every editor window of chosen targets.
3. Mouse-over hints for procedure and function parameters, for table and view columns for objects whose names contain spaces and special symbols.
4. Search capabilities added to SQL Reference.
5. Smart handling of Home/End keys for improved coding productivity.
6. Support for global variables and built-in functions in Sybase ASE and Sybase ASA.
7. Automatic end-of-line text conversion from Unix to Windows conventions when copying database code from the Procedural Code View.
8. Support for executing very large SQL files.
9. Support for scrollable mouse-over hints - for tables and procedures with lost of columns and/or parameters.
10. Support for SQLCMD scripts in SQL Server 2008.
11. Other minor enhancements and usability changes.
Bug fixes:
1. Code Compare dialog - resizing panes can completely hide left pane
2. Incorrect position of semicolons after formatting T-SQL code.
3. Dollar sign $ symbol is not recognized as a special symbol, as a result names containing $ symbols not enclosed in brackets or quotes.
4. SQL Server Management. Studio editor and Visual Studio editors do not scroll to the inserted text when inserted text goes below visible screen area.
5. Access violation at address 0823021B in module 'SqlAssistPrefs.dll'.
6. Invalid formatting of Oracle CREATE TRIGGER statement containing DECLARE section
7. Cannot delete user-defined formatting rules added to default formatting styles.
8. Incorrect operator spacing formatting for || in DB2, Oracle, MySQL
9. Toad related - error hints don't appear on screen when mouse is over wavy red lines.
