Send SNMP trap v272 |
|
Hello,
passes the possibility the sending SNMP trap on the Multi-platform to set up edition 272?

My problem is: I want to send an SNMP Trap, but when I set up this option (see screenshot), nothing happens, so my guess is that I have to set up certain SNMP preferences somewhere. But I cannot find anything about this in the manual.
This is on RedHat4 Update3, on the 24x7 Scheduler 4.1.272 Multi Platform Edition:

I see now. How do you know that "nothing happens?" What do you expect to happen? Does the debug.log file indicate that SNMP trap has been sent? (you will need to enable trace option in the settings to see this activity reported in the debug.log)
