SQL Assistant 4.0.24 is now available |
|
Beta version build 4.0.24 is now available for download. This build contains several bug fixes and enhancements. Here is a change log for issues added/changed since previously released 4.0.21.
1. SQL Reference updated for Oracle 11g
2. SQL Reference updated DB2 reference updated for 9.5
3. Fix for keyword formatting applied to column and object names matching keywords and specified within [] brackets.
4. Fix/enhancement for macros used in code snippets. Previously macros returning objects and columns with names match keywords were incorrectly enclosed in brackets
5. Fix for real-time syntax check results sensitivity to current selection – real-time syntax should is now always performed for the entire file
6. Protection implemented for MySQL servers – affects versions 5.0.27 and earlier. Because of a bug in MySQL client/server communication, the server may crash while SQL Assistant is running real-time syntax checking process.
7. Implemented new manual and self-check for updates feature with automatic downloading and installation of new versions, by default set to weekly schedule.
8. Added new _WOW_ code snippets for SQL Server and MySQL. Do not miss them, try them as soon as you get this upgrade!
9. Fix for SQL Assistant crashing DB Tools after second right-click in the editor.
10. Added new preconfigured targets for pgAdmin III
11. Added new preconfigured targets PowerBuilder target
12. Fix for duplicate SQL Assistant context menus appearing in Toad's "Query Builder" window.
