If you are using Multi-platform version of 24x7, I suggest to upgrade to the latest build 4.1.271. This build provides several new job templates, one of them is "Download FTP files using file mask" You can use it as is or create a job using this template, then customize as needed. Similar template is also available in the Windows Edition of the 24x7 Scheduler.
