Scripts Running Indefinitely |
|
We are using version 3.4.32
We have some important scripts that have been set to run in a queue that we named "System Processes". We did this because we didn't want any other scripts that hung to hinder these from running at their scheduled time. Once we put them into the queue, they began to behave peculiarly. Any one of them may fail run correctly on any given day, and it will prevent the following scheduled scripts from running. When the problem occurs, the job starts okay and continues to appear to be running. The queue will say "RUNNING" for the job, but the job won't actually be doing anything. Well, yesterday, I decided to trace the behavior. This morning, one of our scripts, "Create Cleanup dir", started running and didn't finish. We traced its execution and it just stopped when attempting to connect to the database. We tried to run it again, and it ran fine. I double-checked to ensure that the database was working correctly during the first run, and it was. I would like to send you the trace file and the job. How would I do that?
