24x7 job editor miscounts on 'run script' |
|
For a job which has 'run program or batch file', no schedule, and no notification events/actions, there are 10 steps.
For a job which has 'run script', there are only 9 steps, yet the wizard dialog still displays Step x of 10. i.e. the last screen you can access is 9 of 10.
(The run program has an 'Additional options' on screen 3, the script one doesn't)
24x7 multi-platform 4.1 255
Cheers

Thanks again. This group of settings might be reserved for future use with script type jobs. JavaScript jobs could use the Timeout property and batch script jobs could use both timeout and exit code properties. VBScript currently cannot use timeout and exit code. So that number of steps should vary for different script types. I don't know if that step is hidden deliberately or not. Anyway the step counter should be in agreement with the Properties Wizard. I am going to submit this issue too.
