bug? |
|
I have the web console, 24x7 Web Console Version 4.1.0 build 263.
When I setup a job to run a shell script using the web console, I type in a command like such:
/home/srv_etl/scripts/submit_ds_job.ksh d3_20071003 /home/srv_etl/par_files/d3_s1/d3_s1_tst.par laramst_17 partition_flag\=Y
Save the job.
Now edit the job again. If you look at the command line, the "=Y" gets stripped off.
I don't know if the GUI does this but I figured I would report it.
Let me know if you get similar results.

Thanks for the info. It is likely an issue with the web console. In web technologies "=" is a special symbol, and if not encoded/decoded correctly, it may cause various side effects. I just logged this case into support system for further review. Issue tracking number #0000736.
