include images in email |
|
Hi,
I currently use DB Mail 2.5 to route email generate by Oracle PL/SQL to my company's SMTP server. Is there any way I can include CSS styles and background images in the email content? I have been sending html content without images.
Thanks.
Andy

Yes, you can surely do that. You just need to copy all referenced files (CCS, images) to your web server. When you send emails, use "text/html" as the message content type option. In the HTML text of the message use full path file references like src="http:\\mydomain.com\images\image1.gif"
