Unexpected code changes are happening

We are currently using 24x7 3.4.27.

We have created a folder in our 24x7 Scheduler named "System Process Scripts". For no apparent reason, the code is sometimes copied from one job within that folder and overwrites the code of another job within that folder. This is bad because they are scheduled to run regularly. Also, the one that has its code overwritten doesn't have its properties changed. This results in the wrong job code being executed according to a different schedule. At first we thought that it was programmer error and would just copy the code from our backup into the appropriate 24x7 job. There are only 6 programmers, and we thought that maybe someone did it by accident. As time progressed, this began to occur more frequently, and we really have no idea what's causing it. Now we know that we're not just haphazardly changing code, and something is wrong. Has someone else experienced similar symptoms? If so, what was done to solve it?

This sounds very bad and likely indicates corruption of some internal data structures. I suggest that you try to rebuild the job database file by creating a new one and then copying the jobs from the current file. You can use the Tools/Job Database Manager utility to perform the selective copying. If that doesn't help, please email your job database file to support for further analysis.
