Does the job have its timeout property set to non-zero value?

Skip if job is late is not enabled, and restart if fails is not enabled so there is no time out.

This also might be an issue with registry access virtualization. Windows might be trying to replace some registry values on 24x7 startup. Try the following solution:
Create a job running on 24x7 startup with the following JAL script
[code]RegistryDelete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\SoftTree Technologies, Inc.\\24x7 Scheduler\\3.0\\ShutDownEvent"[/code
If this doesn't help try deleting the value manually before starting the scheduler.
