I want to install the 24x7 Scheduler of the Automation Suite on the server and want to monitor the jobs from my ClientPC. I just have to buy one ($270) licence of the product, do I?
Thanks
Dominik

It depends on what you mean by "monitor"
If you simply want to monitor log files and get emails when something goes wrong, you only need to install the software on the server.
If you want full graphical access to the 24x7 scheduler running on the server, you should also install 24x7 on your computer and use the 24x7 Remote Control interface (graphical console). In that case, you would need to obtain 2 licenses because the software is going to be installed on 2 computers.
If you want to have full web based interface and control over the scheduler, you would need to install 24x7 web-based console on the server (same or different). Using the web-based interface can access the scheduler from anywhere, manage jobs, monitor jobs, change global settings, using just a web browser. In the latest case you would need to obtain a site license.
