problems using FTPPUTFILE |
|
Hello,
I'm using the FTPPUTFILE function and often get a job error message as follows : Upload failed fro "". The server has returned an extended error: 200 Type set to I. 200 PORT Command successul. 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for <filename>. 426 Data
Any idea what is coing on ? Problem on script side or server side ? I to solve this ? The error is NOT appearing systematically.

Looks like the file name parameter is missing or an empty string is passed for the file name value.

PUTFTP FILE ... |
|
Of course this is what I thought, but the script just before the FTP instruction, verifies if the file that has to be transfered exists. Only if this is true, the FTP transfert is executed. WIll FTP transfert return a value that can be intercepted ?

Please turn on tracing if it is not already enabled and when this happens again, check trace file for the job [job id].log in the Performance Data subfoler and also ftp.log. I'm pretty sure in the log files you will find the reason for this error. If you don't an obvious reason, please post the trace file so we can help you with the analysis.
