Post Running the master and the agent(s) Reply with quote
Hi there,

I notice that when I start both the agent and master in nogui mode that the term stays open and you hit ctrl c to quit the process.

Can I run these process in the background so that I don't have to keep the terminal windows open?

I tried this, and I got a hung process on the agent.

Am I missing anything here?

Thanks

Yes, you can run them in the background just like any other Unix process. Just add & at the end of the command line. If you need to run them on Windows systems, you can use set them up to run as services.
