FileZip - How to add files rather than replacing |
|
I need to add file to a pre-existing ZIP archive, but if I use FileZip it replaces the old one ..anyone know how to do it?

Hi,
There is no built-in function for adding files to an existing zip. As a workaround you can unzip files first to a working directory, copy new files to the same directory and then zip them all together replacing the existing zip. Alternatively you can simply automate run of pkzip or similar command line DOS utility that supports file add options
