Looks like you have multiple Oracle clients and Oracle homes defined on your computer and an old Oracle client version is sitting first in the system search path. To make SQL Assistant use the correct Oracle client, on the connect dialog click the button with 2 "greater sign" symbols and in the additional options pick the correct Oracle home.
A better solution is to fix your Oracle client configuration and uninstall the old client or fix the PATH variable and Oracle registry settings and make it point to the new client. With correct client settings SQL Assistant can determine where your SQL*Plus is connected to without asking any questions and displaying unnecessary connections dialogs.
