DB Audit Ques |
|
Hi,
Does this Audit tool allow for automated export to a log file. For example, we need to have all audits for the last 24 hours exported to a log file that can be ftpd.
Also I created a sql server user with windows athentication domain/user and I can select to audit ALL(inserts, updates, deletes, all 20,000 tables)against this user. I log into sql server 2005 as this user and make changes to the db and DB Audit is not auditing those changes.
Can this app handle a db with 20,000 tables? It seems to seize up just trying to generate the triggers.
We will be using this to audit PeopleSoft.
thanks
Nicole

This can be easily done using DB Audit API. Basically a command line utility is available to export the data in a number of formats. It can be scheduled to run as often as needed using the Alert Center or any other available job scheduler.
