This error "cannot start listener" indicates that port 1096 is either in use or blocked by your firewall/antivirus software.
One common case for such errors is when you attempt to start 24x7 in a standalone graphical mode while you already have it running as a service, or running another instance minimized as an icon in the system tray.

Please tell us more about the job. If we know how it is scheduled, type of job, what you mean and where you see "job start" info and where you look for "job finish" info, we can then suggest where to look for clues and what to do to make it work.
