OK. That is dandy, but I think I am still doing something wrong.
If I select to Test It Now, it works pretty slick.
If I schedule it to occur a couple minutes in the future, it doesn't
seem to go. I did save it after scheduling it.
By the way, what happens if I leave the output file name
blank? I really don't want anything else created. The script does
log it's activity to file already.

The answer is in the job log. Look for errors there.

You cannon leave a required parameter blank. If you don't need the file just pick some name in the temp directory and let it overwrite the file on every run.
