Post Multiple processor support? Reply with quote

We're trying to use 24x7 Scheduler to schedule a large number of similar jobs on
a dual-cpu machine. Task manager shows that all jobs are bound to a single CPU.

I cannot find any configuration option affecting this, but there is a registry
key named MultiProcessorSupport (set to "N") that seems like it might do the
trick. Is thi safe to use?

That option is used for the internal scheduling engine only and it should be left as is. We provide a utility that can be used to bind processes to different CPU or to multiple CPUs at once. For more info please see http://www.softtreetechc.om/24x7/script.htm

OK, thank you... I have implemented something similar in the program we use to
ensure that jobs do not conflict (via lockfiles).
