Post Disabling Timer required when running detached job Reply with quote

Hi,

When running a detached job

via

24x7.exe /JOB "jobname"

I get the message "Another instance of 24x7 Scheduler or 24x7 Remote Agent is already running on this computer"

Then I get the OK/Cancel to disable the timer on the next instance of 24x7.

I have tried;

24x7.exe /JOB "jobname" /NOTIMER

as an option, but the same error occurs.

Is there another way to run the detached job other than the above, or is there a syntax error?

The job this is running from is a scheduled job on the first instance of 24x7.

Thanks

Matt

There is something wrong with the setup or "jobname" cannot be found. Try using job id instead of job name. Please let us know if that helps.

tried

24x7.exe /JOB 442 /NOTIMER

and it came up with the same timer error. Is there a setting in the configuration that needs to be changed?

Don't use /NOTIMER here as it will try to fins and execute job whose name is "442 /NOTIMER" You don't want that. A simple "24x7.exe /JOB 442" will do the trick.
