1. Do the master/standby work when running as services? When you stop the master service, does the standby takes over? Have you actually tried that? The configuration and permissions for services could be a bit tricky that's why I am asking these questions. 2. What is the last messages or messages that you get in the schedule.log on the master before it stops running jobs? 3. Do you have jobs setup to run detached and synchronous? If you have multiple job queues, do all jobs stop running or only jobs assigned to specific job queue? : Good morning, : we have installed 2 Scheduler server (1 master and 1 slave) : and 5 agents all the installation are made on Win 2003 server : Standard Edition with Service Pack 1 and all run as NT services. : All works fine, but ... occasionally the master scheduler : stop to schedule the jobs, the service still running, but the scheduler : don't launch any job (the schedule.log don't log anything) and the slave : scheduler don't start run jobs? : I've tried to trace the activity, but the master.log was ureadable for uman : guy ;) : thnaks for your support. : Roberto
