We installed the ASP Client. After the Login a page with the message "OpenSession Error: -- Distributed communications error." appears suddenly and it doesn't work.
The 24x7 Server is running the the Server address is correct, too... Everything is on the same server. The port is as well the default one.

Any idea?

Assuming the complete error message includes "Requested server not found or inactive" or something similar...

Is the "server" mode enabled in Tools/Options menu; Network tab?

If this is not the case please provide the complete error message.

Well the message is "OpenSession Error: -- Distributed communications error." in a HTML page appearing right after pressing the 'Login' button...

This doesn't look like a complete message.
Which "ASP client" have you installed? Is that the 24x7 Web-based Management Console? If yes which version? If this some ASP client example, then which one?
