Please check 3 things: 1) "Distributed server mode" option is enabled (Tools/Options menu, Network tab) in the scheduler 2) The services is not runnung under LocalSystem account (try domain account or try admin account and start the service manually) 3) Same port number is selected in the scheduler and remote control options for connections : I am testing 24x7 scheduler running as a service on our test server. I am now : trying to connect to that server from my client workstation using the : remote control software. I get the message "Failed to contact remote : 24x7 Scheduler. Host not found. Requested server not active." Is : there something different I have to do when it is running as a service to : access it remotely?
