Could it be that the file is locked by some process, perhaps backup? Sysinternals has free FileMon utility that can show all open file handles/locks. Check which processes hold a lock on the .DAT file. By default, FileMon will output will be huge, but you can set a filter by file and get nice one page view. Uninstall &  : reinstall of 24x7 still has it unable to read the dat file.  : I finally moved it to a new file on the local drive, but now after a couiple  : days of operation I get this message.  : I have eliminated permissions (gave full) locked accounts / password (can  : conenct sucessfully via another computer)  : Even creating a NEW dat file via another scheduler, this box is unable to  : read THAT file.  : Any ideas?
