24x7 Remote Control Question

I have just began working with your product. I have the master scheduler installed on my server and have added several jobs. I now want to be able to administer those jobs remotely from my workstation. I installed the scheduler on my workstation and started the remote control application. I created a new remote host profile using the following paramaters: Agent Name - Server1, Driver - Winsock, Port/Service - 1096, Location - IP address of server, Options - blank, Asynchronous operations and trace enabled - unchecked. When I hit test connect I get the message "Connection to remote host Server1 failed. Requested server not active." I have verified that the scheduler is running (not as a service) on the server. Any ideas what is wrong. Thanks, Jeff

Make sure you run the scheduler in the server mode, e.g. Distributed Server Mode option checked in Tools/Options menu; Network page.
