I am sure the problem is not caused by a firewall or at least it is not specific to a script library replication. I suspect the job database file, which is locked or cannot be updated, causes the replication to fail. Queue changes are saved in the remote registry. Remote jobs are not saved anywhere. Only folder/job replications and script library replications lead to file updates. Try replicating some jobs and check if that works. If it doesn't then my hypothesis is right and you need to look into why the file cannot be updated. Is it locked, read-only or something else? If it doesn't work, please enable tracing options on the remote server and after running script library replication search master.log file for error. If you need help with reading the trace file please send it to support@softtreetech.com. : When I try to copy the script library from one 24x7 master : scheduler to another 24x7 master scheduler everything works fine. : When I try to do the same thing with a 24x7 scheduler that is behind : a firewall it fails. I cannot modify the script library with remote : control. I can however modify the job queues and I can run remote jobs : on the scheduler. : The port 1096 has been opened in the firewall to and from the remote server. : Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
