Post From 24x7 Run J.D.Edwards Oneworld RunUbe Command Reply with quote

I have to execute a RUNUBE command in JDE system from a batch file, which is run by 24x7. The command is running successfully if JDE session is logged in. However, if JDE session is not logged in, system waits for a user to enter a password. If anyone is running JDE Runube command by caching a password please help me. Becuase I cannot leave the JDE session open on the terminal.

I don't know anything about JDE, but if the password is displayed as console prompt you can probably send it using input redirection
Example: mybatch.bat < mypassword

If the password is displayed in a GUI window you can "find" that window and simulate user input using SendKeys command fro ma JAL or VB job.

The RUNUBE command can be run by creating a batch file and including all of the
proper parameters:
RUNUBE USERID PASSWORD PD810 *ALL UBE UBEVER QBATCH B P S

UserID and Password are for E1
PD810 is environment to be launched in
UBE and Ver, ensure there in the Env
Qbatch is the job queue
B is for batch job
P is for printer
S is to save
B P S should just be B P S do not change to actual values.

RUNUBE must be run on the server.
