I'm trying to do this on a Windows 2000 Server platform:

ServiceGetStatus("Print Spooler", status)

But status always returns "ERROR".

What am I doing wrong?

Don't use service display name. ServiceGetStatus only understands service names. For print spooler service name is "Spooler".

ServiceGetStatus("Spooler", status)
