Hello,
We just found your product and are playing with the trial version in hopes
of buying the license. We are trying to set up a database profile to access our unix enviroment.
It keeps defaulting to our NT Login user name not our Informix 9x user name.
Is there a way we can change the default? We can FTP with no problem,
just setting up the profile is the problem.

What do you mean by "defaulting to our NT Login user name?" Where do you see it?

It always uses the value entered in the database profile properties. Are you attempting to connect using native database driver or ODBC interface?

I am attempting to create a new data profile. I enter out server, login id (mine is z00019-my informix login), my password, and the database. I hit
test connection and it returns "SQL error-951: Incorrect password or 'Audit_intern' (my NT log in) in not known on database server. I do not want to use my NT log in, I would like to use z00019 (the login i entered)

If you connect using ODBC (instead of native driver) change your ODBC profile settings and remove 'Audit_intern' from there (if the ODBC profile has "Use integrated NT authentication" or similar option, disable it)

Please don't confuse database profile in 24x7 and ODBC profile in Settings/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Data Sources (ODBC)
