For this task it is much easier to use other JAL functions (not related to the MacroRecorder) like RunWithInput Run Wait SendKeys WindowActive and so on If you want to go the MacroRecorder way then you can build the required macro from a scripts dynamically or modify a pre-recorded macro (macro is just a text string) and pass it to the MacroPlayBack function. The complete list of supported MacroRecorder commands and their syntax is available in the on-line help "24x7 MacroRecorder – the GUI Automation utility". Make sure to scroll down, this is a long topic and the last section in it is called "Macro Commands and Their Syntax" : Hi, : I am looking for help on the MacroRecorder command but the downloaded doc. : file only seems to have the MacroPlayback function defined ? : Also is there a worked example of how to use the recorder and playback : functions to start an application - provide input and then exit from the : application ? : Thanks, : Jim
